From the emerald waters of Lake Todos Los Santos flows Rio Petrohue, surrounded by evergreen forests, and set amidst verdant natural scenery, all dominated by the Osorno volcano. Its destination is the Reloncavi fjord. It is on this river that those adventurous spirits among us will revel in the possibility of taking part in some exhilarating rafting pursuits, battling their way through rapids designated, in scale of difficulty, as classes III and IV, and which stretch for some 8 miles or thereabouts.
