The
grand island of Chiloe is awaiting you, with its small,
typical villages facing the sea, its wooden architecture
and ancient mythology.
The mystique-laden national parks of the coast are home
to a variety of indigenous forests.
We follow the route between the lakes, continuing northwards,
and passing azure mirror-like expanses to the neighbourhood
of the active Villarrica volcano.
The return tour follows the picturesque Pacific coast
and the interesting city of Valdivia with its Spanish
forts dating from the seventeenth century.
