- Tour of Lake Llanquihue (approx.170 kms)
A whole day, getting to know every corner of Lake Llanquihue, its rural and farming area, admiring, on route, the wild forests and lava fields, which are over 200 years old, and also a visit to the small towns of tourist and cultural interest, for example Puerto Varas and Frutillar. An excursion to view the German influence manifested in various architectural works, framed in the panoramic backdrop of volcanoes and lakes on view along the entire route.
- The Osorno Volcano, Todos los Santos Lake, and the hot springs of Ralun.
2.1 A whole day’s excursion (approx. 228 kms), this is a route of fascinating scenic beauty, which is possible to appreciate more fully from the mountain itself , la Burbuja (the Osorno Volcano), continuing to the lake known as Todos los Santos, located alongside the Petrohue river, and following the road in the direction of Ralun, towards the Reloncavi fjord. Here we will take the time to enjoy the natural hot springs beside the Petrohue river.
- Lake Rupanco, Lake Puyehue, the Spa of Aguas Calientes, Salto del Indio and Salto de los Novios, which are both waterfalls (approx. 210 kms).
3.1 A whole day’s trip around lakes Rupanco and Puyehue, visiting the Saltos del Indio and Saltos de los Novios, located in the river Gol Gol, at the foot of the active volcano Puyehue. In Aguas Calientes we can take a relaxing thermal bath and go for a walk in the local native-wood forest.
- A rural route with a visit to an organic farm with goat rearing (approx. 170 kms).
A whole day’s excursion. We begin with Lower Frutillar, its interesting cultural museum on Phillipi Avenue. Then we continue the excursion in the direction of Tegualda , along the “colonial route”, through country villages with craggy hills . A visit to the organic farm of “Praderas del Sur”, near Purranque, the owner and host of which will relate to you all her own experiences of country life, the rearing of Saanen goats, and cheese production. There will be an opportunity for product-tasting afterwards.
