Penguins and Pelicans (7 days)

Discover the mystical island of Chiloe, with its picturesque fishing villages and antique wooden churches. There are also national parks full of virgin forests, and an interesting Humboldt and Magellan penguin colony. After driving back to the continent, you arrive at the region of the deep and beautiful lakes of Llanquihue and the eternally-emerald Todos los Santos. Between these rises the majestic Osorno volcano high above the dense evergreen forests adorning its circumference. To complete our tour we will, naturally, take in the romantic Pacific coast and the interesting city of Valdivia, with its Spanish forts, which date from the seventeenth century, and which are situated at the mouth of its river.
