Chilean Patagonia - The Pioneering Spirit in the Wild
Patagonia - The Pioneering Spirit in the Wild
Lake District - Lakes, Forests, and Volcanoes
Atacama - Desert and Altiplano by Bicycle

A 10-day tour by bicycle across Patagonia and its fascinating scenery.

Participants will be captivated by the impressive majesty of Cerro Castillo and the route following the legendary “Carretera Austral” (Southern Highway), where we will continue on to the awe-inspiring Northern Ice Fields. We will subsequently circumnavigate the edge of the tributary of the largest lake in Chile, with its perfect icon of Monte San Valentin. From here one can appreciate most fully the hanging glaciers that descend from a great height, their ´dancing tongues´ stretching and extending into ancient remote forests…

Remote villages in this area are the home of gauchos and pioneers, who, in spite of the wildness and severity of this inclement climate, have dwelt here from time immemorial, and survive until this day.

One is struck by the real essence of this almost palpable spirit present in the air.the spirit of these true pioneers, which accompanies us in a mystic setting throughout the trip as a whole. The journey begins and ends in Puerto Montt.
